Richard & Emma's amazing Millhouse Wedding in Co.Meath! The couple opted for laid-back morning preparations at their family homes in Newry, surrounded by their close knit families. The wedding ceremony took place in St Josephs Redemptorist Church in Dundalk, and was officiated by a relative of the groom. This was a lovely, sentimental touch.
Following the ceremony, Richard & Emma made their way to their stunning venue, The Millhouse, a Georgian Manor House in Slane, Co.Meath. They were greeted at the beautiful venue entrance with champagne.
The Millhouse, as you'd expect from the name, has amazing buildings and backdrops for wedding portraits. The expression, "spoilt for choice", can certainly be used here. Many guests made great use of the sunny outdoor seating area beside the orangery, and others enjoyed the indoor comforts of the Georgian house where live music was played.
The wedding party moved indoors to The Pavillion, where they would listen to speeches and eat their beautiful meal.
There was a gorgeous sunset so we were quick to nip out and take golden hour portraits while the band got set up for the evening entertainment. The Professionals wedding band ensured the dancing would continue all evening long.
