Stephen & Angela's gorgeous wedding at Shandon Hotel & Spa in Dunfanaghy, The infamous Wild Atlantic Way is renowned for its picturesque scenery, enchanting villages and of course it’s many pubs serving creamy pints of stout. It’s no wonder Stephen and Angela chose to have their wedding here! Add into the mix that it's an Irish-Scottish wedding, absolute craic overload was guaranteed.
The couple got married at a local church in the village of An Fál Carrach (Falcarragh), where many of Stephen’s Irish family connections originate. We did the family portraits at the picturesque chapel garden before we headed to Killahoey Beach in Dunfanaghy for the bridal portraits.
It was quite blustery on the beach, which can be tricky for portraits, but the backdrop was breath-taking so it was totally worth it. The sun was shining through the clouds creating pockets of light all over the beach!
The couple held their reception at the Shandon Hotel & Spa. On arrival, the music could be heard by the wonderful Grainne Gavigan and the guests were in great spirits. It was a real joy to capture memories and moments of all those who travelled to Co.Donegal from Scotland, Ireland and further afield. The venue served a beautiful meal before the couple and guests danced the night away.
