Farnham Estate Wedding || Joanna & Gareth

Joanna & Gareth's Farnham Estate Wedding was amazing! I love it when a couple are super organised leading up to their wedding because as a result they can totally relax on the day itself knowing everything is going to be perfect. Joanna and Gareth had their wedding plans down to a tee which is nuts considering how much their wedding was affected by the government's lockdown restrictions! As a result of their organisational skills they ensured they had an effortlessly relaxed day with an abundance of time to mingle, chill and have photos in between. So, when couples say to me, "Darryn, we really love relaxed images and don't want to be away from our guests too long, can you help us plan our day like that?" My answer is always, "Yesssssssssssssssss". A well planned wedding day makes for the most chilled wedding day and of course timeless photos every single time.

Like so many couples who got married in 2020, restrictions put in place by the government meant Joanna & Gareth had to move their wedding from July to December in the hope they would get the green light. Ultimately, they ended up switching their wedding back to the summer again and made plans that allowed them to marry each other among their close family and friends. Testament to their will power and love for each other, these two got the skates on and planned their wedding so so fast and made sure to plan a day that worked for them. They did it and now they are married, woohoo!

When I arrived with the ladies they were very chilled. The beautifying was almost complete so it was just a matter of getting into their dresses and keeping the nerves at bay whilst sipping on some well deserved champagne.

Gareth got ready only 5 minutes away at his home house so I had time to stop with him too. Like all grooms' houses, there was no mad frenzy, chilled personified. Gareth's daughter helped him get ready to make sure he was looking his very best.

Joanna wore a stunning Ronald Joyce dress purchased from Creative Ideas Bridal in Cookstown. The bridesmaids wore True Bride dresses that complimented Joanna and they too were purchased from Creative Ideas. The couple held both their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Farnham Estate in County Cavan, great choice might I add! If you have been to this venue for a wedding before, or even had a Spa break here, then you will know how amazing it is. The layout is literally perfect for a wedding, so much photography goodness at every turnaround. Anybody who has had their wedding photographed by me will know I work fast because I like to have you in among your guests enjoying yourself as soon as possible. Farnham Estate is ideal for this as all the little photo spots are easily accessed by foot.

Best wishes to Joanna & Gareth on a life full of happiness. Enjoy the images!
